Katja Zupan

Flutist

Professional flutist and scoring-stage musician based in Vienna, specializing in film, television and orchestral recording. I am a scoring-stage musician with the Synchron Stage Orchestra and have performed live alongside Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman as part of the Limitless Orchestra's Global Waltzing project. Alongside my orchestral work, I independently record flute and traditional wind instruments remotely for international productions and composers.

Recent individual recording credits include featured and solo flute performances for Blue Planet 3 (BBC Studios), Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary (Toei Animation), Rex: Vienna Calling (ORF / MR Film), and Universum: Java & Bali (ORF).

I also work as a freelance flutist for Bleeding Fingers Music and Extreme Music.
